We will adjust the motorcycle suspension to your weight and riding style, whether it be for Road use or Trackday Riders. It is not just about going fast, it is about safely getting the best performance out of your motorcycle.

We offer a fully tailored Motorcycle Suspension Setup service.
Straight out of the crate every motorcycle should be checked and adjusted for each individual rider and how they intend to use it. Even if you have not modified your motorcycle then these basic checks should be carried out.
If we find no faults or do not make a noticeable improvement, we will charge nothing.

Whether you are a novice that has just passed your DAS or a Professional Motorcycle Racer you will see and feel an improvement. Motorcycling is about having confidence in the machine and a better set up motorcycle will provide that reassurance.
Before adjusting the suspension it is important to check that there are no mechanical issues that would have an adverse effect on the handling or operation of your motorcycle. We look for potential problems in these areas:
- Wheel Bearings – Free play, smooth operation
- Headrace Bearings
- Swinging Arm Bearings
- Suspension Linkages
- Forks Seals – Condition, Oil Leakage
- Forks – Pitting, Smooth Movement
- Tyre – Wear/Condition, Pressure
- Chain – Condition, Wear, Tight Spots, Sprockets
Suspension adjustment will be carried out by appointment at LJ Motorcycles:
To carry out these checks and adjustments should take around an hour and a half. Once complete the service does not end there. Once you have had time to ride the bike and get a feeling for the new settings we can offer advise and carry out minor adjustments according to your feedback.
